Procedures For Performing The PCI UPGRADE from a 6.2 or 6.15 site upgrading to 6.4

Before you begin Make sure you have set up a database in your web hosting control/plesk panel, and assigned a user with all privledges to that database. Make sure you do not overwrite your existing live site, for instance here; www.yoursite.com, the new upgrade files need to be in a dev or new folder, like this www.yoursite.com/new/ they must not be uploaded over your existing site.

| STEP 1: Click the Rapid PCI UPGRADE |

| STEP 2: Your server has to pass the required php and server settings. Then all files listed in the below directories need to be CHMOD 777 (file permissions) |

| STEP 3: Existing Store Configuration. Make sure the path to your current store your upgrading is the correct path. for example if your current store is located here www.yoursite.com/catalog/ then make sure the /catalog path is correct |

| STEP 4: Existing Store Configuration part two: It will check to make sure it finds the existing store details, and connect to the old store database, and username/password |

| STEP 5: Database settings and configuration. Your database server may be "localhost" or on a "ip address" Then you will need to copy your database name, user name, and password from when you set up the database in your hosting control/plesk panel. |

| STEP 6: New Database Settings & Conversion. Important!! This step will edit your current database to erase any stored credit card numbers, this is required to be PCI compliant. Make sure you have processed any old orders that have stored credit card details/numbers. After this step, those numbers will not be available anymore, so proceed with caution, and make sure your ready. |

| STEP 7: Database Import will now begin, and convert the old database, this step may take awhile if your old store has a large database. |

| STEP 8: This page should be pre filled out with information already for you, make sure and check the SSL configuration settings. Some sites have a SSL installed using the full URL including the www, some site do not have there SSL installed for the full domain. |

| STEP 9: Once installation is complete, you can access your catalog, or admin from this page (your passwords will be the same from your old site) Also you can goto the Cre Secure site to get connected with the new PCI compliant payment module, or you can also goto apply for a merchant account from this page |
